Much of our work is focused on helping organisations improve the way they manage procurement via the tendering process. Our experience ranges from developing business cases and specifications to facilitating workshops on evaluating qualitative criteria and assessing clients’ procurement documentation for opportunities to improve. We have a genuine interest in the world of procurement and contributing to the body of knowledge; helping not only our clients, but the broader tendering ‘community’ learn and benefit from our expertise.

This paper describes how a multi-faceted procurement challenge was overcome through implementing a decisive and imaginative strategy. Policy for assessing risk in procurement exists in many organisations but risk assessment practice depends more on the skills, knowledge and experience of individual Procurement Managers. This paper looks at the risk associated with the Procurement activity. |
