In 1990 an idea formed: to conduct effective evaluations we need a more efficient way to turn details provided into information for better decision-making.

This idea led to the first version of Apetâ (the ‘all purpose evaluation tool’) software designed to make tender evaluations easier to manage; the idea also led to the formation of Lange Consulting & Software (LC&S).

Today Apet is a sophisticated, easy to use application that is affordable. It is a proven solution being used by all levels of Australian Government (and within the private sector) to underpin transparency and accountability in the tender evaluation process. Apet is testimony to the understanding and commitment we have to the procurement profession.

We are now considered to be a market leader. LC&S is providing tender evaluation software, evaluation consulting and training services throughout the world. Our mission statement: ‘Positive evaluation solutions for positive outcomes’, has stood us in good stead. We have increased staff and turnover in every year of operation by adopting a down to earth 'fixed price' approach when dealing with clients, and offering cost-effective consultancy solutions, software and training products.

Tender management is our core business. It is not an after-thought based on a fashionable business opportunity. Our core business is supported by people with solid procurement track records and experience.
